Transition from Golflink to Golf Australia ConnectCommencing Monday 29
September Golf Australia will be
undertaking a major digital transformation that includes transitioning away
from the GOLF Link platform to a new system called Golf Australia
CONNECT. In order to undertake the transition effectively, Golf
Australia has advised that there will be an offline period from the evening of
September 28 through to October 2. During this period and the additional
time for testing and validation (Oct 3 -10), rounds of golf played will not be
able to be handicapped or submitted to the portal. Club fixtures have been
adjusted during this transition period and competitions will still be run, with
competition fees paid in and prizes paid out, but scores will not be
handicapped. In addition, MiClub has
advised that The Western Australian Golf Club site upgrade to integrate with
Golf Australia CONNECT will take place on Thursday 2 October, with testing and
validation taking place until Sunday 5 October. The ladies competition on Thursday
2 October will not be able to be run through the miclub/miscore system and will
be managed manually by the Golf Operations Team and Committee volunteers.
