Notice of Extraordinary Meeting - 1st September 2008*

Expiration of Competition and House Account Vouchers - 30th September 2008* Please note that all 2007/2008 House Account Vouchers will be expiring on 30th September 2008. A number of members are yet to collect their books from the Office. No 2007/2008 vouchers will be accepted at the Club after the 30th September.
These vouchers can be redeemed by dining in our Ala Carte restaurant for Friday lunch ($32.00 for 3 courses) or Friday Dinner (meals individually priced) - bookings essential though the Club Office -, purchasing food from our snack menu for lunch or dinner Tuesday to Sunday or by purchasing drinks at the Club Bar. Takeaways are permitted from the bar and should you have a large order please ring the bar between 2.00pm and 4.30pm Monday to Sunday to place your order for collection during these times also.
Additionally, all competition vouchers (including $3 and first and second place Pro Shop vouchers) won between 1st July 2007 and 30th June 2008 also expire on the 30th September 2008. Please contact office staff to see if you have any to collect. Any uncollected winnings will be marked as expired and will not be able to be collected after the 1st September 2008. Winning vouchers can be redeemed similarly to the House Account Vouchers as well as being used in the Pro Shop.
Anyone wishing to redeem large amounts of their House Account Vouchers at the Bar (for take away purposes) please do so after 2pm. This is just for the courtesy of other members wishing to make smaller purchases within the clubhouse.
WAGC Restricted Rights (Male) Championships 2008* This event is a 36 hole Stroke play event open to all Restricted Rights (Male) members of the Western Australian Golf Club.
The event is being held Sunday 24th and 31st of August 2008. Bookings are to be made online with entry fee of $15.00 per player to be paid at the Pro Shop on Sunday 24th August. Please click here for more information.
80th Anniversary History Book and Limited Edition Wines The Club's 80th Anniversary History Book is now available for all members, complimentary, from the front office.
Extra copies of the book are $30.00each.
Additionally the Club has 80th Anniversary Special Edition Wines available for purchase from members at $20.00each available from the bar.

Sunday Competition Guests Members please note that as from Sunday 3rd February, any member wishing to bring a visitor for Sunday competitions must get permission from the Club Captain for the visitor(s) to play in the competition.
All visitors must have an official AGU Handicap and be a financial member of another Private Golf Club.
Members may continue to invite guests for social rounds of golf at time when there are no official Club competitions.
